Broadway Theatre League of NEPA presents Menopause The Musical at the Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton on Tuesday, November 17, at 7:30 PM.
Celebrating 25 years, the international musical comedy follows four women who meet during a lingerie sale at a department store. Their conversation quickly turns to hot flashes, mood swings, wrinkles, weight gain and other shared experiences surrounding menopause.
Playwright Jeanie Linders created the show as a celebration of women navigating “The Change.” The 90-minute production features parodies of classic pop songs from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
Since debuting in Orlando, Menopause The Musical has reached more than 17 million people. The production has played more than 500 cities worldwide and has been translated into nine languages.
Tickets go on sale Monday, August 31, at 10 AM online and at the Scranton Cultural Center box office.
