WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — 37-year-old Fernando Bracero of Wilkes-Barre was convicted of first-degree murder on Monday for the deadly stabbing of Scott Knox in May of 2024.
The Times Leader reports this comes after a jury convicted him in July.
The District Attorney’s office said Bracero — armed with a knife — and several other men attacked Knox in an Alley on Academy Street following a drug deal hours earlier in which fake crack was used.
Two other men are awaiting sentencing. Another is scheduled for trial.
