Learn homesteading tips
Willow Haven Farm in New Tripoli will host its 2026 Homesteading Conference on Saturday, offering a full day of hands-on workshops designed to give families practical skills like making sourdough bread, fermenting food, planning productive gardens, learning about permaculture and native plants, caring for the soil, preparing seasonal meals, and developing traditional skills for greater self-reliance.
The conference includes a choice of two in-depth workshops, a farm breakfast, opportunities to meet local presenters and farmers, and optional experiences including a guided farm tour and Friday night camping. Attendees don’t need to own a farm or have acres of land, just a desire to learn practical tools they can adapt to their own homes and lifestyles.
Workshop topics include food and farming; hands-on food-skills; growing your own food; real food for families; native plants and herbs; and functional strength training.
If you go: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 7686 Herber Road, New Tripoli. Tickets: eventbrite.com/e/homesteading-conference-on-the-farm-2026-tickets-1633143398869

A punk rock market and a street faire
The Lehigh Valley Punk Rock Flea Market and the Belleville Street Faire both return to Bethlehem this weekend.
Up first is the 2026 Summer’s End Punk Rock Flea Market on Saturday at the Ice House. Vendor sales will happen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and live music follows from 4:30-7 p.m. The event is free, open to all ages, and pet-friendly.
The twice-annual market is dedicated to music, original art, vintage pieces, offbeat items, and other weird curiosities, and surpassed 1,000 attendees last year.
Event organizer Tape Swap Radio will be collecting food donations for Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable, non-expired products that are in boxes, cans, or plastic.

On Sunday, Belleville Market brings its street faire to SteelStacks at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The free, open-air event will feature more than 100 makers, artists, vintage curators, collectors, food vendors and independent businesses from across the region, along with music from Nite Liters. Admission and parking are free, and the event will be held rain or shine.
“We created the Street Faire to take what people love about Belleville — discovering something unexpected, supporting independent businesses and simply enjoying being together — and bring it outdoors on a much bigger scale,” said Derrick Clark, co-founder of Belleville Market.
