LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Montgomery County is collecting campaign yard signs now that the general election is over, and Lower Merion- and Narberth-area residents don’t need to go far to recycle their signs.
The county is hosting a campaign yard sign drop-off at the Lower Merion Transfer Station.
Area residents can drop off their signs at the transfer station during normal business hours.
The transfer station is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
Accepted materials are paperboard and plastic yard signs and metal stands.
The collection effort runs now through Nov. 12.
