SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. — One man is dead after a being hit by a car Tuesday in Scranton.
Scranton police responded to the crash on State Route 0307 at Florida Avenue near the “lookout.”
Police identified the pedestrian as Dion Leepier, who was taken to Geisinger-Community Medical Center’s Trauma unit where he later died.
The driver identified as 19-year-old Gracie Rinaldi was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Charges are pending after the completion of the investigation.
