A 19-year-old Old Forge woman was arrested after a fatal crash on Route 307 early Tuesday morning, Scranton police said.
Police responded at about 3 a.m. on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near the area known as the Lookout.
Responding officers and medical personnel treated Dion Leepier at the scene before he was transported to the Geisinger Community Medical Center Trauma Unit. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was later pronounced dead.
Gracie Rinaldi remained at the scene and was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The Pennsylvania State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist Unit conducted an on-scene reconstruction of the crash. Charges are pending the completion of the investigation, police said.
