READING, Pa. — The Reading Police Department said it continues to investigate a deadly shooting that happened around midnight.
Police said it happened in the 1200 block of Windsor Street.
Officials have identified the victim as Wilfredo Soto-Rosario.
Officers could be seen on Windsor Street into the afternoon.
A large area had been taped off, including a portion of the sidewalk
Police were taking pictures inside the taped off area.
“We need the public’s help and we do believe that there are people out there that have information in regard to this homicide,” said Adams. “So we would ask them to please contact Crime Alert Berks County or the Reading Police Department with any information that they may have about this incident,” said Adams.
Police said there is no suspect information at this time.
The District Attorney said he cannot comment at this point on what the motive could be.
