SCRANTON — A six-part documentary about “The Office” that was partly shot in Scranton will appear on the Peacock network beginning Monday.
Local people interviewed for “Fan Level Midnight: Devoted to The Office” included Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti, former Mayor Chris Doherty, Tim Holmes, Michele Dempsey, Mari Potis, Ryan Cooper, Douglas Fink, Curt Camoni and Michael Ritterbeck.
An in-progress preview was shown at the Scranton Art Haus in 2024.
“There is a genuine love between ‘The Office’ fans and Scranton,” director and co-producer Shawn Cauthen said in a media release. “But after spending time there, I understand that love on a completely different level. I can’t begin to describe the affection I have for Scranton and the people who welcomed us. They didn’t just help us make the documentary. They became part of it.”
