School closings and delays | Western Pennsylvania schools modify schedules due to storms
PITTSBURGH —
Several schools in western Pennsylvania will be closed or delayed or will move to remote learning on Friday after severe storms hit the region.

Strong storms with heavy downpours caused damage and flash flooding in many parts of Western Pennsylvania on Thursday night.
Downed trees and power lines were reported in some areas. Duquesne Light said about 60,000 customers had no power Thursday night.
