Thousands of power outages in Western Pennsylvania | Severe storms pack 70+ mph winds
PITTSBURGH —
Power outages were reported across Western Pennsylvania as severe storms with winds of 70 mph and above moved through the Pittsburgh region on Thursday evening.
Duquesne Light was reporting over 55,000 customers without power as of 11 p.m. Thursday.
About 50,000 West Penn Power customers also had no service, mostly in Westmoreland County.
