Members of the Scranton Running Co. Barrier Breakers are training for and participating in the 14th annual Capt. James R. Minicozzi Memorial Race, helping inspire others throughout the community to join them. Presented through the UNICO Scranton Chapter, the race will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. in downtown Scranton during La Festa Italiana. Race-day registration is $35 from 8-9:30 a.m. at Linden Street and North Washington Avenue. Proceeds benefit the children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA through their annual Christmas party and college scholarships at West Scranton High School.
