NAZARETH, Pa. – After a lopsided affair at Garnet Valley, the Nazareth football squad is preparing for a Friday night battle at Whitehall.
The Blue Eagles struggled defensively in Glen Mills, falling 63-34 to the Jaguars.
It is a quick turnaround this week, meaning an oppurtunity to flip the script.
“Tough one to swallow. First game of the season, you have different hopes,” senior tailback Cooper Wenrich said. “I think there was a lot of stuff that we did do right in that game. Maybe the score didn’t reflect our effort. It’s not minor things, but stuff that – it’s gonna be easy to fix. And if we fix it, I think we’re a totally different team than we were that game.”
Kickoff in Whitehall is at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
