Just a few months after it shuttered, the property of the former Wings on Main Sports Bar & Grille will come back to life with a new restaurant next week in Hellertown.
Gigi & Alex Restaurant announced it will hold a soft opening next Friday and Saturday before a grand opening at 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at 605 Main St. A ribbon cutting will occur at 9 a.m.
“After months of preparation, hard work, and plenty of love behind the scenes, we’re ready to open our doors and welcome you in,” the announcement said.
With the menu posted on its social media, the restaurant will serve breakfast through dinner with dishes such as sandwiches, burritos, eggs, bacon, omelets, waffles, pancakes, wings, nachos, salads, pasta, gyros, burgers and seafood. Breakfast is served all day, the restaurant previously announced.
“Come experience breakfast, lunch & dinner and celebrate the beginning of this new chapter with our family and team,” the announcement added. “Whether you’ve been following us from the beginning or are just discovering us, we truly cannot wait to serve you!”
Wings on Main opened in 2019 and closed in June.
Other recent Hellertown openings include Sheetz with its first-ever store in the borough and the salon LovelyyFaces.
