READING, Pa. – On Sunday, Reading’s Pagoda will welcome guests for the first time since the landmark closed in 2020.
It will be the first of four ticketed events offering a peek at what’s new, including the eye-catching mural that we told you about earlier this week.
The Pagoda has undergone nearly five million dollars in renovations, including upgrades to the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Tickets for Sunday’s opening went fast, but the other ticketed events will take place on September 19th, October 4th, and 24th.
Organizers say they hope to have regular hours and host private events starting next year.
