Newberry Township Fire Department and Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) York responded to a hazmat incident Friday evening on I-83 going southbound.
According to dispatch, the crash occured on mile marker 32 southbound on I-83 at 7:16 p.m.
The crash involved a box truck, PSP said. EMS is currently on scene, and the scene remains active at this time.
According to 511PA, the right lane (of 3 lanes) is blocked off at exit 32 by Newberry Township.
