The Lackawanna Blind Association received a $10,000 donation from the Scranton Lions Club’s 92nd Annual Dream Game, continuing a partnership that for generations has positively impacted the lives of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The relationship between the Scranton Lions Club and the Lackawanna Blind Association dates back to 1934, when the organization first became a recipient of Dream Game proceeds. Since 1996, the Lions Club has raised nearly $400,000 through the Dream Game to support the work of the Lackawanna Blind Association. The funds raised through the Dream Game help support programs and services that enhance independence and improve the quality of life for those who are blind or visually impaired.
