Officers were working early Saturday in North Philadelphia, officials said, after a shooting happened overnight.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the area of North Bancroft Street and Lehigh Avenue on a report of a shooting just after 3 a.m. on Saturday morning.
However, police did not immediately provide additional information on this incident nor did they immediately provide details on any victims or suspects in this shooting.
At the scene, early Saturday, offices could be seen investigating an area that was taped off where a red sneaker was resting in the roadway.
No arrests have yet been announced in this incident.
Officials said an investigation into this shooting remains ongoing.
