BIRDSBORO, Pa. – Labor Day weekend kicked off with celebrations for America’s 250th birthday.
In Berks County, the “Birdsboro Big 250th Bash” started off the day with a patriotic 1776 parade on Saturday morning.
Everyone from first responders, to local community groups, to student athletes walked in the parade.
The fun continues until 8 p.m. with food trucks, live music and a petting zoo.
The party closes out with a fireworks show at 8:15 p.m.
