Comfortable and warm Sunday; refreshing Labor Day in south central Pennsylvania
The holiday weekend continues to be dry and pleasant, which will last through Labor Day! Temperatures and storm chances increase heading into next week.
Good morning,
Another beautiful day is in store across the Susquehanna Valley. Sunday will feature refreshing humidity levels, as high pressure builds into Pennsylvania. Highs will hover near 80°. Some high clouds may develop towards this evening and offer some filtered sunshine.
Tonight, a mainly clear sky and light winds lead to a quiet night. Some patchy fog is possible, especially along the creeks, rivers, and streams.
Labor Day also looks fantastic, with sunshine and highs remaining near 80. A perfect end to the holiday weekend as high pressure sits across Pennsylvania!
We keep the beautiful stretch of weather around as we head back to work and school. Tuesday is another mostly sunny and comfortable day with highs near 82°. After a pleasant day Tuesday, humidity will climb Wednesday. Highs will reach the mid-80s ahead of a cold front.
A few showers and thunderstorms are possible late Wednesday into Thursday, as the cold front passes. It will turn breezy and humidity will fall again at the end of the week. Expect highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees through Saturday.
Another cold front will approach Sunday into Monday with the chance of a few showers. Highs will be seasonable, near 80 degrees early next week.
Have a great day!
