Car enthusiasts came together in Scranton to support a woman recently diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.
“Horsepower for Hope ” benefit was held at McDade Park along Bald Mountain Road, featuring a line-up of unique cars on display.
Organizers say every dollar raised will go towards treatment and help the woman through her cancer journey.
“I’ve been tearing up all day. I’ve been tearing up all day. It’s, it’s very emotional to see. You know, everybody coming out for this, it’s, it’s amazing,” said Don Bidwell.
Organizers plan on having the car show every year, with each year benefiting a different local community member.
