PITTSTON, Pa. — Weiner dogs took to the track this evening at Susquehanna Brewing Company in Pittston.
The fierce competitors lined up as part of SBC Oktoberfest happening along Main Street.
While some dogs have been training, organizers say others are natural athletes.
“We’re hoping we’re gonna have to do a little bit of training next year, I think. We might have we might even get May to do next year, but Winnie were hoping for gold,” said Michael Berlew.
Along with the highly anticipated race, the event featured live music, beer, and lots of entertainment.
