A crash has closed a major Bethlehem road Monday evening.
Daly Avenue, which is Route 412, is closed between East Fourth Street and the Minsi Trail Bridge, in front of the Wind Creek Bethlehem casino, according to a post on the Bethlehem Police Department Facebook page.
Police are investigating the crash, which occurred late Monday afternoon. Photos shared by the Lehigh Valley Breaking News Facebook page indicated the crash involved two vehicles and a bike.
Eastbound traffic on Route 412/Daly Avenue is being diverted north across the Minsi Trail Bridge. Westbound traffic is being diverted to East Fourth Street.
Motorists should avoid the area and use alternate routes, allowing for additional travel time, according to the Bethlehem police post.
Police said they would provide an update once the road has reopened.
