Elizabeth Palermo’s tradition of giving back began with a family tradition of its own. This year marks one year at her new location and more than 13 years in business. To celebrate the milestone, Palermo gave back to the people who helped make her journey possible.
The shop, formerly known as Marion’s Barber Shop, was owned by a local veteran who was known for offering some of the cheapest haircuts in Erie.
Palermo says she is keeping those affordable prices, offering some of the cheapest haircuts in the county. But that’s not the only tradition she’s carrying on.
For Palermo, the business is about more than haircuts. It’s about building relationships, staying connected to the community and giving back to the people who have supported her throughout her journey.
