Carson Kinniard scored two goals, leading the homestanding Bardstown Tigers to a 5-1 victory over the LaRue County Hawks on a steamy Saturday morning at Garnis Martin Field.
Naru Sugie added a goal and two assists, while Caleb Lyvers and Ryder Roby each scored once. Ivy Poynter added an assist for Bardstown, which improved to 6-3-1 overall with its third straight win.
The Tigers, who played at Woodford County Tuesday night, play at 5th Region rival North Hardin at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15.
Bethlehem 1, Central Hardin 1
Goalkeeper Brady Matherly stopped six of the seven shots he faced as the homestanding Eagles played to a draw the Bruins Saturday morning.

Bethlehem fell to 1-4-1 overall. The Eagles, who played at South Warren Tuesday night, play region rival Fort Knox at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Banshees win Smoky Mountain Cup
Bethlehem went 3-0 over the weekend to win the Smoky Mountain Cup in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The Banshees beat Georgetown (Washington, D.C.) Day School 1-0 on Sunday, topped Arlington (Tenn.) 2-0 on Saturday and beat Evangelical Christian School (Tenn.) 1-0 on Friday to win the championship at Rocky Top Sports World.
Zoe Thurmond scored Bethlehem’s goal off an assist from Sophia Miles in the win over Georgetown Day School. Goalkeeper Reonna Morgan stopped the only shot on goal she faced.
Miles scored twice and Catherine Deopere had an assist in the Banshees’ win over Arlington. Morgan stopped all four shots on goal she faced.
Karson Haggard scored on an assist from Thurmond in the win over Evangelical Christian. Morgan saved all five shots she faced.
Bethlehem is now 7-3 on the year. The Banshees, who played Campbellsville in Tuesday’s 5th Region All ‘A’ Classic championship game at Fort Knox, are scheduled to host the All ‘A’ sectional game Sunday afternoon if they win the region title.
