WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Presale tickets are available now for the latest “Disney On Ice” show, “Spotlight Magic,” at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza on Jan. 7-10. It will feature a villain showcase and characters new to the ice.
Tickets start at $20.50, with fees included.
Disney On Ice Preferred Customers can purchase tickets now, prior to general sales beginning Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Tickets are sold on ticketmaster.com and at the arena on Highland Park Boulevard.
Showtimes are Thursday, Jan. 7 and Friday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7; and Sunday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The villains in the spotlight will include the Evil Queen, Gaston, Maleficent and Ursula.
Hosted by Mickey and Minnie and friends, the show will include stories from “Beauty and the Beast,” “Tangled,” ”Toy Story,” “Moana” and “Monsters, Inc.” The show features more than 30 characters. Newcomers include Gary De’Snake and Gazelle from “Zootopia 2” and Angel from “Lilo & Stitch.” Angel will soar high above the arena on a sparkling chandelier before reuniting with Stitch on the ice.
The soundtrack will include “Pumpin’ Up the Party” from “Hannah Montana,” “A Night to Remember” from “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” and “Good to Be Bad” from “Descendants 3.”
