McHENRY, Md. – Pennsylvania Highlands Community College was swept by Garrett College in three tightly contested sets during a Region 20 women’s volleyball matchup Wednesday night by a 25-20, 25-22, 25-21 margin.
Garrett broke a 4-all tie in the first set with back-to-back points and held the advantage the rest of the way. Penn Highlands kept pace with the Lakers, as the lead hovered around three points for the majority of the frame, until Garrett took three of the final four tallies to take the set by five.
