Following a successful inaugural year, the Germantown Avenue Food Truck Festival is returning for its second iteration with an even bigger taste of food, culture, music, art and community.

Set for this Saturday, Sept. 12, from 1 to 6 p.m., 2026’s gathering carries the theme ‘Flavor, Fitness & Festivities — A Celebration of Food, Culture & Healthy Living.’ And once again, culinary bites will act as a backdrop to the event with a diverse lineup of food trucks offering everything from classic Philadelphia favorites to soul food, seafood, vegan fare and desserts.

What’s on the menu? Victoria’s Kitchen will serve a selection of flavored wings, fried rice and soul rolls; Brotherly Grub will serve up their signature cheesesteaks; Monz Crabby Dips will offer pescatarian comfort food; and Cluck and Gill’s will feature halal chicken, fish and shrimp. For plant-based options, FlatBelly Veg will serve vegan sandwiches, wraps and bowls, plus, festivalgoers looking for something sweet can choose from BB’s Banana Pudding, Knappy Nicky’s funnel cakes, Dre’s Water Ice or Munchy Mobile’s frozen treats.

The festival’s food lineup will also include Nutz About Popcorn, serving gourmet snacks, drinks and candy, Macho’s Delish Mix with a mix of Mexican and healthy fare and Eatible Delights Catering, offering comfort food, plus some other vendors on the roster.

Beyond the food, the festival will offer a packed schedule of entertainment and activities, including a performance by the Dobbins High School Mighty Mustangs Band, a West Philadelphia High School dance showcase and a step team representing the Chester Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. The Metro Philadelphia Fun & Games Village will also feature a moon bounce, game truck and other activities, plus an Arts Village curated by October Gallery will provide additional entertainment, activities and more.

Organizers envision the second annual festival as “more than a food event.” According to a release, by bringing families, local food vendors, artists, performers, sponsors and community organizations together along Germantown Avenue, the celebration is designed to highlight neighborhood talent, encourage healthy living, support local businesses and strengthen community connections.
