An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed outside of a restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia on Friday evening, according to the police department.

The shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 7 on the 7200 block of Oxford Avenue, police said.

A man in his early thirties was shot in the chest, officials said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 7:30 p.m.

No arrests have been made yet and police have not shared a motive for this shooting.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating.
