Susan M. “Sue” Bedow, age 73, of Summit Township, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Born in Erie on April 5, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Rita (King) Haaf.
In her early life, Sue enjoyed life in Erie growing up with her seven siblings and loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She worked as a nurse for over 50 years dedicating most of her career to the patients at Millcreek Community Hospital working long hours and not retiring til age 72. Besides being a dedicated wife, sister, and aunt her most favorite thing in life was being a mother to her two beautiful daughters. But her ultimate joy came when she got to be a grandmother to three amazing and unique grandchildren who challenged her and kept her very busy and full of life for the past twenty seven years.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Clive R. Bedow; two daughters, Kristy Graham (Brian) and Lindsey Dahl (Ian); three grandchildren, Henasee Bedow (James White), Cameron Kenna, and Remle Rita Dahl.
Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. on Monday, September 14th from 1 p.m. until the time of a service at 4 p.m.
