Pennsylvania State police responded to a man barricaded with a gun Tuesday morning in Northampton county.
State police responded around 10 a.m. to the Evergreen Village development in the 200 block of Molly Pitcher Lane in Upper Mount Bethel Township.
Investigators say they received reports of a 58-year-old male in a mental health crisis in possession of a firearm who also had two active criminal warrants.
Members of the PSP Special Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T.) arrived on scene and were able to successfully take the man into custody without incident.
The scene was cleared at 4:30 pm.
