A 38-year-old Upper Darby man was taken into custody after Warrington Police discovered he was wanted on an active warrant following a motor vehicle crash earlier this month, according to authorities.
Warrington Police responded to the intersection of County Line Road and Route 202 at approximately 10:06 a.m. Sept. 3 for a reported motor vehicle accident.
During their investigation, officers identified one of the drivers as Sukhwinder Singh, 38, of Upper Darby. A records check determined that Singh had an active warrant issued by Upper Darby Police.
Singh was taken into custody and transported to the Warrington Police station. Upper Darby Police were contacted and confirmed the warrant.
Singh was subsequently transported to Upper Darby and turned over to Upper Darby Police.
Warrington Police did not provide additional details about the underlying warrant or any charges associated with it.
