BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – Are you ready to be scared? Fall isn’t officially here, but spooky season enthusiasts will get a head start as popular haunted attractions in the region are scheduled to open this weekend.
Field of Screams in Lancaster County, opens on Sept. 11. It features four distinct scenes that offer thrills and scares.
Hersheypark is gearing up for its dark nights Halloween experience opening this weekend in Dauphin County.
The theme park is in Mountville, just off Route 30.
Events continue on weekends through Saturday, Nov. 14.
In Berks County, Shocktoberfest also opens on Sept. 11.
That’s at Willow Glen Park in Sinking Spring.
Its attractions run on weekends through Saturday, Nov. 7.
