A group of people in Erie marked the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks with a physical tribute to those who lost their lives.
Luke Paskey and five other men took on a stair climb at the Planet Fitness on Edinboro Road Friday afternoon.
Paskey climbed the equivalent of 110 stories, the same number of floors in each of the World Trade Center towers.

He said the challenge is meant to honor the victims of 9/11 and remember the first responders who climbed into danger that day.
“Letting it be something more than a date on the calendar. Really going back and appreciating the guys that lost their lives, the men and women that lost their lives and the men and women that were the first responders on scene,” Paskey said.
Paskey said the climb is a small way to pay tribute to the sacrifices made 25 years ago.
