A man riding an e-bike died after police said he crashed into a parked SUV in Philadelphia late Friday night.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the crash happened around 11:54 p.m. Sept. 11 on the 6700 block of Stenton Ave.
Police said the man was riding a black e-bike southbound on Stenton Avenue when he struck the rear of a legally parked and unoccupied blue 2012 Honda CR-V.
The e-bike rider suffered head injuries and was taken by medics to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:53 a.m.
The Crash Investigation Division is investigating this incident, according to police.
