OBITUARY
Blake W. Carlton of Scranton passed away Saturday September 5, 2006. he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jane. His family takes comfort in imagining Blake and Jane together again. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Lafayette and Marion James Carlton. He was a graduate of West Scranton High School and the University of Scranton.
Blake lived a simple but meaningful life centered on love, family, and generosity. Driven and dependable, he served his community for many years as a U.S. Postal carrier. He was proud to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was a Master Mason.
Blake enjoyed life’s simple pleasures- especially eating ice cream and watching his beloved New York Yankees with his grandkids. He will be remembered as a loving generous, and determined man whose greatest legacy is the family he cherished.
Surviving are a son Blake Carlton, Jr., and partner Courtney Novak, a daughter Heather Kulick , and partner Jon Davenport, , six grandchildren Dr. Blake Carlton and fiancé Olivia Viscomi, Connor Carlton, Lauren, Eleanor, Grace, and Christopher Kulick and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Albert P. O’Donnell Funeral Home 2025 Green Ridge Street, Dunmore. A blessing service will be held.
