A cold front arrives this evening producing thunderstorms. Any storm could produce gusty winds and some hail. The strongest storms will be north of Pittsburgh.
Isolated showers and storms will swing through western PA this evening.
Brief cool down
We are back to sunshine with a fall preview on Monday with high temps near 70°. However, heat and humidity will build through the middle of next week.
Tomorrow features a break from heat, high humidity and rain.
Best chance for rain: Thursday
More showers are still on track for Thursday. The ridge of high pressure feeding the mid-week warm up could block widespread rain. We will monitor the trends. A longer, fall feel will follow ahead of next weekend.
