Jane Propper, 93, of Scranton and formerly of Delray Beach, FL., passed away on Wednesday morning at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Scranton. She was the widow of the late David Propper who passed away in 2009.
Born in Binghamton, New York, she was the daughter of the late Timothy J. and Reva Marshak Connor. Jane was a graduate of the former Scranton Central High School and prior to retirement she worked in the accounting department at the former Jewish Home in Scranton.
After retiring to Delray, she enjoyed reading, knitting, playing canasta and spending time with friends and family.
Surviving is a daughter, Mindy Gershman and husband Charles, CA. Sons, Barry Propper, Scranton and Jeffrey Propper and wife Nan, NJ. Grandchildren, Jessica Springer, Jared, Sam and Michelle Propper, Max Gershman and Ariel Bailey. Seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Connor.
