A Blakely police officer responding Thursday afternoon to a call for assistance by Dickson City police was involved in a two-vehicle crash, Dickson City Police Chief William Bilinski said Monday.
The collision occurred at West Lackawanna Avenue and Dundaff Street in Dickson City, near the Blakely border.
A Dickson City police officer involved in a traffic stop radioed for assistance and the Blakely officer was attempting to respond when the collision occurred, Bilinski said. The Blakely police vehicle’s lights, siren and dashboard camera were activated, the chief said.
Occupants in both vehicles suffered minor injuries, he said.
The incident remains under investigation and no further information was immediately released.
