This Saturday, three Philly neighborhoods will host festivals packed with food, live music, local vendors, family-friendly activities and plenty of reasons to get out and explore.

The tough part? Deciding which one to hit first.

South Philly SausageFest

The South Philly SausageFest will return for its 10th year this Saturday, Sept. 19, from noon to 7 p.m. The fun will be held along West Passyunk Avenue between South Broad Street and 15th Street and will feature an eclectic mix of food, drinks, music and local vendors.

While there, guests can enjoy creative sausage dishes from eight participating restaurants and food vendors (including Deke’s BBQ, Dietz & Watson, Philly Pretzel Company, Mike’s BBQ, and Bubblebears), plus craft beer from local breweries, along with drinks and spirits from Otto Distillery Company and Top Dog Cocktails. The celebration will also feature live music performances, arts and crafts vendors and a chance to peruse around the Philly Flea Market.

“SausageFest has become a great event for the Newbold community — we’re so excited to be hosting our 10th annual festival,” says Newbold CDC President Tim Lidiak. “This year’s festival will feature several new offerings, including Newbold-based Otto Distilling Company, which will be serving up some delightful rum- and vodka-based cocktails.” 

Admission to South Philly SausageFest is free, with food and drinks available for purchase throughout the event. Advance beer tickets are available in packs of five for $30, 10 for $50, or 18 for $72. Proceeds will support Newbold CDC’s ongoing street cleaning and neighborhood beautification programs. East Market Food Truck Festival

East Market is bringing back a popular event this weekend: On Saturday, Sept. 19, the 2nd Annual Bites, Beats & Streets Food Truck Festival will be in full swing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jefferson Plaza between 12th and Chestnut Streets. The family-friendly event will feature a lineup of local trucks and vendors including  Ali’s Smash & Smoothies, Boomer’s Kitchen, Philly Fry Truck, Grubaholics, Daq Shack, Liberty Ice Cream, Henry’s Kitchen and Coco Jadors’ Melt Truck.

Guests can also enjoy live entertainment and cast a vote for their favorite cuisine while there. Admission to the event is free, and locals can learn more online at eastmarket.com

Conshohocken Fun Fest

Conshohocken will celebrate its 33rd Annual Funfest this Saturday, Sept. 19, from noon to 8 p.m., transforming Fayette Street into a nine-block hub of family-friendly fun. As the organizers note, the 2026 festival will be the largest in Funfest history, featuring an expanded lineup of vendors, food choices, entertainment and activities for all ages.

Some highlights? Live music from the Flanigan’s Boathouse Sound Stage will kick off near First Avenue and continue all day, while local restaurants will serve food and drinks along the street. Shoppers can also browse three blocks of vendors between Second and Fifth Avenues, and other food vendors will line Fayette Street between Fourth and Fifth Avenues.

Families can additionally enjoy face painting, balloon artists, glitter tattoos, inflatable games, bounce houses, and obstacle courses throughout the festival. Admission is free, and a full list of vendors and activities is available online at conshohockenpa.gov
