Salisbury Township man sentenced to prison for sexual assault
A Salisbury Township man has been sentenced to four to eight years in state prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman.

Guilty plea and assault details
A Lancaster County judge sentenced Jose Ramos-Gonzalez, 46, following his Aug. 31 guilty plea to two counts of sexual assault and three counts of indecent assault.
Authorities said Ramos-Gonzalez assaulted the woman at his residence in the 800 block of Pequea Avenue in September 2025.
The woman told police she was spending the night at the residence when Ramos-Gonzalez assaulted her. According to authorities, he continued despite her attempts to push him away and repeatedly telling him no.
Sexually violent predator evaluation ordered
An attorney representing Ramos-Gonzalez told the court that Ramos-Gonzalez was “very, very sorry” for the situation.
Ramos-Gonzalez declined to speak when given an opportunity before he was sentenced.
As part of the sentence, Ramos-Gonzalez will undergo an evaluation to determine whether he meets the criteria to be classified as a sexually violent predator.
