PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh company that broadcasts two public media outlets announced earlier this month it intends to purchase the WCGF-TM station in Ellwood City.
Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation, which broadcasts WESA-FM and WYEP-FM, announced on Sept. 1 that it entered into an agreement to purchase the Ellwood City station. PCBC said it intends to extend its 24-hour WESA news programming to new listeners in Lawrence, Beaver and Butler counties.
