Lyla Ryon scored three goals and added an assist, leading Lackawanna Trail to a 4-1 win over Lake-Lehman on Monday in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division I field hockey match.

Willow Ritter got the Lady Lions (2-0) on the board with a game-tying goal off a Ryon assist in the third quarter. Ryon had all three of her goals in the fourth. Kacie Higgins, Emma Thomas and Alana Edwards each assisted the scores.

Sara Womach scored in the second off an assist from Sophia Sparacio for Lake-Lehman (1-1).

Valley West 2, Honesdale 0: At Spartan Stadium, Paige Yurko and Miley Cunningham each scored one goal, while Charlotte Yelen assisted on both to lead the Spartans.

Kaylah Sewell had eight saves for Valley West.

Marly Mazur, Emily Smith, Mollie Coyne and Mercedes Maye also scored for Dallas as Mizzur, Smith and Coyne each added assists.

Girls volleyball

Audrey Comstock had 13 kills, two blocks, four digs and four aces, leading Mid Valley to a 3-1 (25-22, 15-25, 25-21, 25-20) win over Elk Lake in a Lackawanna League girls volleyball match Monday.

Olivia Perry added 18 assists and three aces, and Kate Coviello contributed five kills and three aces for the Spartanettes (4-0).

Aleece Greenley had 18 kills and nine digs, leading Elk Lake (2-2). Mia Blair added seven kills and 11 digs, and Brooke Tonkovich had 19 service points and seven aces for the Lady Warriors.

Lakeland 3, West Scranton 0: At Lakeland, Eliana Rogari set a school record with 14 aces and reached 500 career service points, leading the Lady Chiefs to a 25-15, 25-11, 25-23 win in Division II.

Jada Chavies eclipsed 100 assists this season; Adeline Biondo had 14 kills and eight service points and Macie Kilmer had 10 service points, six digs and four kills for Lakeland (2-2).

Sophia DeLuca had nine digs and five aces, Aubrey Kerrigan had nine digs and Violetta O’Hora had nine assists for West Scranton (2-2).

Susquehanna 3, Forest City 0: At Forest City, Lauren Huyck had 11 assists, nine aces and seven kills as the Lady Sabers won, 25-15, 25-16, 25-19, in Division II.

Jordyn Spoor contributed five aces, three kills and three digs, and Piper Heller had four aces and nine digs for Susquehanna (2-2).

Amethyst Kealoha-Silva had 10 digs and four kills for Forest City (0-4). Tarwyn Tiets added seven digs, and Ali Vrabel had six digs and four service points.

Blue Ridge 3, Wyalusing 0: At Blue Ridge, Abigail Gelinger had 22 kills, six digs and three aces, and Payton Perrington added 15 digs, leading the Lady Raiders to a 25-19, 25-20, 25-22 win in a nonleague match.

Mckenna Zick had 28 assists, Lynndee Barbour had eight kills and four digs and Peyton Rutter contributed 17 service points for Blue Ridge (4-2).

Girls tennis

Irene Smith won a three-set battle in the No. 2 singles match, and Honesdale swept the doubles matches in a 3-2 win over West Scranton on Monday in Lackawanna League Division II girls tennis.

Smith earned a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Marissa Shafer, and the doubles teams of Sophia Bond-Vera Rickard and Surie MacDonald-Elise Foley won for the Lady Hornets.

Chiara Pugliese and Alyssa Heffron won singles matches for West Scranton.
