Police are on the lookout for a man who, officials claim, used a stolen U-Haul truck to help facilitate the heist of stolen food from a catering business in Bensalem.
According to police, officers were alerted to the crime after a business in Bensalem — that police did not immediately identify — shared surveillance footage that showed a man cut a lock on a refrigerated trailer at the business before stealing various frozen food products from inside.
The crime happened sometime between 5:15 and 5:45 a.m. on Sept. 1, 2026, officials said.
After taking the frozen food, police said, the man sought in this case fled the area in a stolen U-Haul truck.
The suspect has been described by police as appearing to have a distinctive tattoo on his forearm.
