READING, Pa. – Alvernia University in Reading is marking the start of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The school is hosting a number of events, including this gathering for students at the College Towne campus in Center City.
It featured Latin food, music, and the chance to enjoy a game of dominoes.
The month is dedicated to honoring the contributions and history of Spain and Latin America.
“This really falls in line with the theme for Hispanic heritage month this year which is together we are more, so we really wanted to focus on what does this look like when we do activities together, what do our traditions look like together,” says Arielle Phillips-Law.
