KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Kutztown University is one of three state-run schools testing a new program that aims to help students see how the skills they learn transfer to the workforce.
It’s called “Connecting Credentials to Careers.”
Officials say the program aims to address a common challenge in higher education known as the clarity gap.
They say a recent study found a majority of college grads wish they had more career coaching while in college.
The initiative will begin with 10 academic programs at KU and two other universities.
