OLEY TWP., Pa. – The Berks County Coroner’s Office released more information regarding the death of a 42-year-old Birdsboro woman following a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash Monday morning in Oley Township.
Calls came in at approximately 6:18 a.m. Monday morning for a crash located at the intersection of Philadelphia Avenue (Route 73) and Snyder Road, according to a news release from the coroner.
The coroner says the victim has been identified as Agustina M. Stevens, 42, of Birdsboro Borough.
Ms. Stevens was transported by ambulance to Tower Health/Reading Hospital following the crash. Despite lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced deceased in the Emergency Department at 8:23 a.m., according to the release.
The cause and manner of death are pending the completion of the investigation.
No further information has been released on what led to the crash.
The Berks County Coroner’s Office was assisted in its investigation by the Central Berks Regional Police Department.
