Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti visited Allied Services Scranton Rehabilitation Hospital to present a proclamation recognizing National Rehabilitation Week and speak about the importance and life-changing power of physical rehabilitation. The visit comes as Allied Services celebrates the 50th anniversary of National Rehabilitation Week, an observance that began at Allied in Scranton in 1976 and continues to recognize the patients, families and rehabilitation professionals whose determination and expertise make recovery possible.
