The Bethlehem Christian Academy football team posted an impressive 41-22 victory last Friday defeating visiting Athens Academy 41-22 at Knights Field.
According to Georgia High School Football Daily, BCA, a GIAA school that came in as a 22-point underdog, pulled off the upset and sent Athens Academy to its first 1-3 start since 1990, when the Spartans finished 2-8.
The Knights, meanwhile, are 2-3 this year, including 2-2 against GHSA schools, beating Athens Academy and Towns County while falling to Social Circle and Eagle’s Landing Christian.

The tough early-season schedule was part of Coach Rod Robinson’s plan to prepare his team for the upcoming region schedule.
