THROOP, Pa. — Warehouses won’t be coming to conservation land in Throop.
Lawyers for Theta Land Corp. and Core 5 Industrial Partners, a real estate company with expertise in industrial property, said in a letter Tuesday they will withdraw a petition made to Throop to amend the borough zoning ordinance to allow warehouse development on land zoned for environmental conservation.
The borough had scheduled a public hearing Tuesday night to discuss an ordinance that would have changed the zoning law. That meeting is now cancelled.
