A Bensalem man has been charged with raping a child who was in his care after the victim came forward around 10 years after the alleged sexual abuse occurred, police said on Wednesday.
Raul Solis-Soriano, 46, of Bensalem, was taken into custody Wednesday after his alleged victim came forward to the Bensalem Township Police Department on Tuesday, Sept. 15, police said.
According to police, Solis-Soriano sexually assaulted his victim three separate times while the child was in his care.
Solis-Soriano faces more than a dozen charges, including two counts of rape of a child, according to court documents. He remains in custody and was denied bail.
